Aston Martin 007 Drive

You might not know this but the first James Bond car in the Ian Fleming novels was actually a Bentley! By the time the Goldfinger book was written James had purchased a rather nice DB Mark III for his personal use. When it came to turning that story into the third Bond film of the same name in 1963 Aston had released the DB5 so this became the first Aston to feature on the big screen. And it hailed the start of a beautiful relationship between Bond and Aston Martin that has spanned the cinematic decades.Indeed ever since appearing in Goldfinger Aston Martin has been synonymous with super spy James Bond. Not only are these cars absolutely gorgeous they’re also pretty practical too having various gadgets installed on them over time. Be it a simple hiding place for a sniper rifle in the glovebox of the On Her Majesty’s Secret Service DB5 right up to the rear-facing double-barrelled guns flamethrower and ejector seat complete with parachute as seen on Bond’s rather special DB10.The James Bond car you’ll be driving is a pristine silver (of course!) V8 Vantage. We couldn’t get you an actual DB10 as these were only made for the Spectre film so you can’t get too drive one for love nor money unless you’re Daniel Craig in a sharp suit. All shiny and in showroom condition the Aston ready for you to drive is certainly worthy of James Bond. Inside it’s just as luxurious as you’d imagine and the interior styling and build quality is rather impressive. Whilst there might not be any onboard armoury or even bullet-proof glass we reckon you’ll be able to get round the track safely without having any mysterious baddies chasing you that you need to fire at.You’ll find the James Bond car will be visiting various tracks and circuits around the UK during the main track day season so you won’t have to travel far to be able to drive this stunning motor. In fact the only decision you’ll have to make is whether you fancy three or six miles as everyone’s favourite secret agent!
